SF: Presentation for book of post-WWII memoirs

There will be a presentation and celebration for “Making Home from War,” an anthology of memoirs on the Japanese American post-war resettlement experience, on Sunday, Feb. 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter St. in San Francisco’s Japantown.

Brian Komei Dempster, the book’s editor; Jill Shiraki, the production manager; and contributing writers will attend this event. Renowned historian Greg Robinson, who wrote the book’s foreword, will also attend.

The event is free and open to the public.
