Historian and author William Burg will present “Sacramento’s Japan-town, Pre & Post WWII” at the Asian Community Center, 7375 Park City Dr., Sacramento, Calif., from 2 to 4 p.m. Burg will present historical background and the effects of redevelopment on Sacramento’s Japanese American community after World War II. There will also be a PowerPoint presentation to help identify key landmarks, such as churches, businesses and professional offices. $5 donation requested to attend.
