The 38th Annual Inter-Religious Memorial Service, sponsored by Sacramento JACL and coordinated by Rev. Ichiyo Fukuda of the Northern California Koyasan Temple, will be held at the Issei Pioneer Memorial Monument located at Odd Fellows Lawn Cemetery, 2720 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, Calif., 9 a.m. The public is encouraged to attend a service featuring services by Sacramento’s Buddhist, Shinto and Christian faiths. The Nikkei community will offer tribute to the legacy of Issei pioneers who first settled in Sacramento.
