A lecture on Japanese ghosts and spirituality will be co-sponsored by the Jan Ken Po Cultural Association and Sacramento Japanese United Methodist Church. The talk will be given by Rev. Nobu Hanaoka on at 2 pm at the Sacramento Japanese United Methodist Church, 6929 Franklin Blvd. in Sacramento. Ghosts are a frequent subject in Japanese literature, art and theaters. The lecture will explore the unique spirituality that is behind the popularity of ghost stories as a part of the culture of Japan. This program is an expansion of Japanese Ghost Stories presented in 2001. There is a suggested donation of $5 for the event. Info: (916) 395-2589 or e-mail jkpca21@yahoo.com
