Fairytale Town will celebrate literacy on both days, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3901 Land Park Dr. in Sacramento, Calif. across from the Sacramento Zoo. Kristi Yamaguchi, former Olympic athlete, will present her book, “Dream Big, Little Pig,” on Saturday. Activities include: ongoing author and illustrator presentations on the Mother Goose Stage, as well as a wide array of hands-on literacy activities provided by several local area arts organizations.
