KIDS FOR PEACE and grownups too will hold its inaugural “People for PEACE Speaker Series” at Happy Garden Seafood Restaurant, 5731 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, Calif. from noon to 2 p.m. Author Naomi Hirahara will speak. Hirahara has written several mystery novels about her character, Mas Arai. The youth who attend the event will wear their “ethnic attire,” say “peace” in their native language and pledge to work together toward world peace, the group said in a statement.
