Sacramento State University will hold its annual “Japan Culture Night” from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at the University Union, Ballroom I, 6000 J St. Sacramento, Calif. Informational booths will be on display from 2 to 3 p.m. Highlights include: Japanese dance, music and martial arts. Performances begin at 3 p.m. Free parking in Parking Structure II, next to the Hornet Bookstore. A portion of the proceeds (including the silent auction) will go to the Red Cross to benefit the survivors of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Performers include: Sacramento Taiko Dan, Japanese language school children, Minyo Tanoshimi Kai (traditional Japanese dances) the CSUS J-Club-Soran Bushi. Info: www.csus.edu/fl/japanese/JClub.
