The Tule Lake Community Cookbook Project will host ‘Stories & Recipes from Tule Lake: Recipes of Resistance’ at the Sacramento Buddhist Church, 2401 Riverside Blvd., at X Street, in Sacramento from 3 to 5 p.m. The community gathering offers an opportunity to listen to stories about Tule Lake Segregation Center there will also be a cooking demonstration. The Cookbook Project aims to preserve the history of Tule Lake and Japanese American incarceration through recipes and culture. For info or RSVP: tulelakecommunitycookbook@gmail.com.
