The Davis High School (DHS) Band Boosters will sponsor “An Evening with DHS Jazz Alumni” featuring original compositions by Jon Hatamiya (Manhattan School of Music), Colin McDaniel (Brubeck Institute/UCLA) and Erik Maroney (UC Davis). They will also be joined by Neil Heaton (McGill University), also a DHS alumnus; Zach Giberson (Berklee) and Zach Dorf, both Rio Americano alumni; and Sacramento professional guitarist, Arlyn Anderson, at Davis High School’s Richard Brunelle Performance Hall, 315 West 14th St., Davis, Calif. from 7 to 9 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will support the DHS Jazz Band trip to New Orleans in the spring.
