Screening of “The Virtues of Corned Beef Hash” at SJ Day of Remembrance

San Francisco director Kerwin Berk’s poignant short film about a friendship between a hapa Japanese American journalist and a Nisei war veteran will be shown as part of San Jose’s Day of Remembrance program. Shot entirely in S.F.’s Japantown, the film stars Hiroshi Kashiwagi and Tim Yamamura. Screenings will be at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Seating is limited.
