Screening of “The Virtues of Corned Beef Hash” at SJ Day of Remembrance

San Francisco director Kerwin Berk’s poignant short film about a friendship between a hapa Japanese American journalist and a Nisei war veteran will be shown as part of San Jose’s Day of Remembrance program. Shot entirely in S.F.’s Japantown, the film stars Hiroshi Kashiwagi and Tim Yamamura.
