The National Japanese American Historical Society will host “A Sansei Life with Rich Tokeshi” from 1 to 2 p.m. at its Peace Gallery, 1684 Post St. in S.F.’s Japantown. The artist will discuss his approach to drawing and screen-printing. Tokeshi is one of the original artists of JAM Workshop, a community-based art workshop. The subject matter of Tokishi’s art work is a mixture of historic scenes and present-day images of life in America. Info: (415) 921-5007, www.njahs.org.
