A screening of the kabuki classic, “The Five Bandits (Shiranami Gonin Otoko),” the story of the notorious bandit Benten Kozo and his cohorts, a sinister group who live outside the law but still abide by their own code of honor, will be held at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter St., SF’s Japantown at 2 p.m. The film will be screened in Japanese with English commentary.
