SF: “Ed Hardy: Tattoo the World” exhibit closes

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art will present a screening of Emiko Omori’s “Ed Hardy: Tattoo the World” in conjunction with a gallery display of Hardy’s work. The film will screen at the San Francisco Art Institute, 800 Chestnut St., S.F. on June 10 at 6:30 p.m. Both Hardy and Omori will be present for a Q&A session after the movie’s screening. Hardy’s art will be on display at the SFMOMA Artists Gallery at Fort Mason, 99 Marina Blvd., S.F. Gallery hours are 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission to both the film and gallery are free. Hardy redefined the art of tattoos through a mixture of his knowledge of fine art and his passion for tattooing.
