The Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California will host an event to celebrate the release of Felicia Hoshino’s latest children’s book, “Sora and the Cloud,” with a bilingual book reading and signing, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 1840 Sutter St. in S.F.’s Japantown. Sora and the Cloud share a breathtaking adventure in the sky. Birds, kites and fireworks whirl by, as Sora connects his past experiences with the present. Light refreshments will be served.
