The Japanese American Association of Northern California (Hokka Nichi Bei Kai) and the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco will co-sponsor the 38th annual Japanese Speech Contest at San Francisco State University, 1600 Holloway, S.F., in the Humanities Building 1F, Humanities Auditorium Room #133. The middle/high school students will compete at 9:30 a.m. and the students/adults at 1:30 p.m. Info: (415) 921-1782.
