“Animation on Display” will take place at the Hotel Kabuki, 1625 Post St., in S.F.’s Japantown. The convention celebrates anime, video games, recent American cartoons, and other “fun and geeky stuff.” The convention opens for registration at 9 a.m. on Saturday and is open till midnight.
