SF: Art of bonseki with Midori Inomata

Midori Inomata, honorary president of Satsuki-kai, will present on the art of bonseki, the Japanese art of portraying scenery with the arrangement of sand, pebbles and natural rocks on a black lacquer tray. The lecture will be held at the Asian Art Museum, 200 Larkin St., S.F. at 2 p.m. Event is free with museum admission. Info: (415) 581-3500.
