30th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival presented by Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) will be held throughout the Bay Area to show approximately 120 films in 12 venues. The festival celebrates a wide sampling of films and will this year premiere the CAAM-produced documentary “Jake Shimabukuro Documentary.” On Saturday, March 10, from noon to 5 p.m. at the S.F. Japantown’s Peace Plaza, the festival will commemorate the March 11, 2011 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster with music, dance and other live events, as well as the San Francisco Bay area premiere of Oscar-nominated documentary short: “The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom.” Info: www.caamedia.org.
