The Asian Law Caucus Brownbag series luncheon, held at 55 Columbus Ave., S.F., begins at noon, and will discuss why efforts to legalize and promote in-law unit development have failed, and how this affects the Asian American communities who, as renters, rely on in-laws as a vital source of affordable housing, and as homeowners, rely on in-laws as a vital source of income to meet their mortgage payments, especially during the current economic crisis. Omar Calimbas will lead the luncheon. Info: angelac@asianlawcaucus.org.
