“Atomic Mom,” a feature length documentary by M.T. Silvia, will be screened at noon at the Roxie Theater at 3117 16th St. in SF. The film weaves an intimate portrait of a complex mother-daughter relationship within an obscure – but important – moment in American history. It invites viewers to confront American nuclear history in a new way, inspire dialogue about human rights, personal responsibility, and the possibility — and hope — of peace.
