Author Peter Yamamoto will read from his first book of poetry, “Journey,” from 2 to 4 p.m. at the National Japanese American Historical Society, 1684 Post St. in S.F.’s Japantown. Leon Sun will give a presentation of his own book, which is in-progress. Yamamoto’s book is a culmination of pieces from 2006, and includes small observations, and “particular for-instances that make up the bigger picture of life.” There will be light refreshments.
