SF: Greg Robinson “Pacific Citizens: Larry and Guyo Tajiri and Japanese American Journalism in the World War II Era”

Author Greg Robinson will discuss his book, “Pacific Citizens: Larry and Guyo Tajiri and Japanese American Journalism in the World War II Era” at 1:30 p.m. at the National Japanese American Citizens League’s headquarters, which is located at 1765 Sutter St. in San Francisco’s Japantown. The book tells the story of Larry Tajiri and his wife, Guyo, who were leading journalists of their time. Larry Tajiri was editor of the Pacific Citizen newspaper during the war and was one of the Japanese American community’s most visible spokespeople. The book will be available at the event at a special price of $40 (regular price is $60).
