The Hokka Nichibei Kai Tea Society will host their annual Shiwasu Chakai (end-of-year tea ceremony) at Kansoan Tea Room in the Nichibei Kaikan, Third floor, 1759 Sutter St., S.F.’s Japantown. Tea will be served at noon, 1 and 3 p.m. Following each ceremony, toshikoshi soba will be served. Hokka Nichibei Kai asks that participants wear white tabi or white socks if participants wish to sit on the traditional tatami mats.
