The Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) will hosting its annual fundraising event titled “25th Anniversary of Opening Our Doors” at 1840 Sutter St., S.F.’s Japantown, from 4 to 8 p.m. This year, Hawai‘i’s Side Street Inn will be among the featured restaurants. The event will honor three current board members — Kaz Maniwa, Allen Okamoto and Yo Hironaka — who have served on the JCCCNC board of directors for more than 25 years.
