SF: JCCCNC Oshogatsu Matsuri

The 41st annual Oshogatsu Matsuri: Year of the Dragon will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC), 1840 Sutter St. in S.F.’s Japantown. Free and open to the public, event features cultural arts and crafts, mochitsuki, entertainment, food, screen printing and Children’s Art Contest. Bring a plain, light colored T-shirt and J-town Arts will silk-screen it for free. Sponsored by API Legal Outreach, JCCCNC, Hamilton Senior Center, Japanese Community Youth Council, Cherry Blossom Festival, National Japanese American Historical Society. Info: (415) 567-5505.
