SF: Katsuhito Ishii film screening fundraiser

NEW PEOPLE, 1746 Post St. in SF’s Japantown, will screen Katsuhito Ishii’s “The Taste of Tea” at 3:30 p.m. to raise funds for the Northern Japan March 11 earthquake and tsunami relief efforts. Suggested donations: $10 or more per person. Proceeds from the screening will be donated directly to the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California’s relief fund.
