Kimi Kodani Hill, the granddaughter and lecturer of painter Chiura Obata, will give a lecture from 2 to 3 p.m. at The Sequoias-San Francisco auditorium, 1400 Geary Blvd. Six Obata original paintings will be on display during the free event.
