Kimochi Inc. will hold a disaster preparation event at 1840 Sutter St. in SF’s Japantown at the Senior Center #101 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Paul Chin, of Kimochi’s board, will serve as the speaker. Chin is the former (retired) assistant deputy chief of the San Francisco Fire Department.
 There is a suggested donation of $5 or any amount to the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California-established Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.
