Every third Thursday of the month, Kimochi Inc. holds its “Kimochi Family Caregiver Support Group” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Kimochi Office, 2nd floor conference room, located at 1715 Buchanan St. in S.F.’s Japantown. The topic of the discussion for the first 30 minutes will be how to safeguard oneself against falls. Shari Yoshida will demonstrate how to use safety transfer belts and discuss the Fall Monitor, Wander Alarm and chair/bed sensors. Participants will spend the next hour talking freely about family caregiving. Event is free. No RSVP is required.
