SF: NJAHS “Deep Roots, New Shoots” exhibit

The National Japanese American Historical Society (NJAHS) continues its “ Deep Roots, New Shoots: 40 years of Asian American art by veteran and emerging artists” exhibit with an artists salon. Artists will present their views about their works and participate in a discussion with the audience. Participants will include: Rich Tokeshi, Peter Yamamoto, Holly Calica, Leon Sun, Sabrena Taylor and Stuart Sugawara. The event will take place in the NJAHS Peace Gallery, located at 1684 Post St. in S.F.’s Japantown, from 2 to 4 p.m. Info: (415) 921-5007, www.njahs.org.
