Nihonmachi Little Friends will present its annual “Dowa no Omatsuri: A Festival of Children’s Stories” at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater, 3301 Lyon St. in S.F. The theme for the theater performance is “Help * Heal * Hope! Commemorating the One-Year Anniversary of the Northern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.” GenRyu Arts and the students of NLF will be featured. Donations for the Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund will be collected prior to, and on the day of the event. The show begins at 1:30 p.m., and the silent auction opens at noon.
