The Asia Foundation will host an informal lunch presentation entitled, “Recovering from the 3-11 Disaster: The Private Sector and Disaster Relief in Japan,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. at The Asia Foundation, Haydn Williams Conference Room, 465 California St., 8th Floor. S.F. Panel participants will include: Naoto Yamauchi, professor of Public Economics, Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP), Osaka University; Hidemi Tomita, general manager, Corporate Social Responsibility Department, Sony Corporation and Kaori Kuroda, co-director of the Civil Society Organization Network Japan (CSONJ) and consultant to The Asia Foundation.
