The San Francisco Zen Center (SFZC) will present a benefit event, “Resounding Compassion: A Concert For Peace,” to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Zen Center at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, 50 Oak St., S.F. The event benefits SFZC’s City Center, an urban temple located in Hayes Valley, as well as Shinryu-in Temple in Miyagi, Japan, which was badly damaged by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
