Rev. Masato Kawahatsu will hold a book signing event for “Basic Steps to Reach a Higher Level of Spirituality” from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Physique Magnifique Fitness Center, 87 Grand Ave., South S.F. Kawahatsu will read excerpts from his newly published book. A short Q-and-A format session will follow. Members of the Shin Shin Gakudo (The Way of the Mind, Body and Spirit) will provide entertainment. Kawahatsu is a minister of both the San Francisco Konko Church and the South San Francisco Spirituality Center. The event is free, but donations are welcomed.
