SF: RightsFest: A Civil Rights Film Festival

“RightsFest: A Civil Rights Film Festival” will take place at the San Francisco Film Society at the New People Cinema, located at 1746 Post St. in S.F.’s Japantown on Wednesday and Thursday, and at the Opera Plaza Cinema, 601 Van Ness Ave., S.F. on Friday. “Always My Son” and “The Fall of the I-Hotel” will be screened on Wednesday, “Pilgrimage” and “Freedom Riders” on Thursday and “Whose Children Are These?” and “Viva La Causa” on Friday. 7 to 9 p.m. each evening, and will conclude with a panel discussion.
