Sachiko, a fashion designer, will present a three-day series of fashion shopping events to benefit Nihonmachi Little Friends.Sachiko will feature her new 2011 Spring Work, Play and Travel Wear collection, as well as her newest Occasion Wear Collection. More than 400 clothing items will be offered in sizes XXS to XL, in a variety of textures and colors. She will present her “interactive clothing logic,” where a few fashion pieces become several different outfits by their “smart” logic, compatibility, reversibility and stylized accessorizing concepts. The shows will be held during the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival at the Kabuki Hotel’s Kyoto Suite, 1625 Post St. in San Francisco’s Japantown, Friday, April 8 from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
