SF: “Safety on the Highway, in the City, in the Home”

Nikkei and Retirement will host the “Safety on the Highway, in the City, in the Home” event from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter St. in S.F.’s Japantown. The meeting will offer tips on personal safety while driving and traveling as well as protecting their home and identity. Discussion topics will include: identity theft, Internet hacking and protecting one’s home. Darren “Ike” Iketani, assistant chief of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Headquarters in Sacramento, will speak. He is a 32-year veteran of the CHP.
