Asian Improv aRts will hold Improvisasians 2012! “The Art Of Agency 4” at San Francisco State University’s College of Creative Arts. Events are free and will take place on campus, at 1600 Holloway Ave. in S.F.: Monday, March 12 from 1:10 to 2 p.m., the Creative World Ensemble with special guest saxophonist Francis Wong, will perform a set to an eclectic orchestration of instruments spanning Asia and the Americas at Knuth Hall, Room 132, Creative Arts Building; Tues., March 13 from 9:10 a.m. to noon, choreographer Lenora Lee will teach a class in developing stories through movement and writing at Room 120, Business Building. Asian Improv aRts’ Wong and others will give a lecture, perform and hold a discussion from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Room 429, Thorton Hall and from 2:10 to 3:25 p.m. at Room 352, Burk Hall. Hafez Modirzadeh and Wong will participate in “Realizing Asia/America and redefining the Artist/Intellectual” from 6:10 to 8:45 p.m. at Room 152, Creative Arts Building; Thur.s, March 15 Modirzadeh and Wong will participate in a panel discussion entitled “From ‘In’ to ‘Out’-stitutional Learning” from 6:10 to 8:45 p.m. at Room 152, Creative Arts Building. A session on integrating historical research, personal narrative and artistic craft in interdisciplinary work, as well as a movement workshop from 6:10 to 9 p.m. at Room 203, Fine Arts Building; Fri., March 16, Lenora Lee Dance, Kei Lun Martial Arts and Enshin Karate, South San Francisco Dojo will perform “Reflections,” from 1:10 to 2 p.m. at Knuth Hall, Room132, Creative Arts Building.
