“The Magic and Sounds of Kabuki” will feature Mochizuki Saburo, a former lecturer at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and Mochizuki Issa, who regularly performs at the Kabukiza and National Theater, at the Hotel Kabuki Imperial Ballroom, Japan Center, 1615 Post St. in SF’s Japantown at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.) The event will benefit northern Japan relief efforts.
