SJ: “Life Tastes Good” film screening

Contemporary Asian Theater Scene (CATS) continues its film series, J-Town Cinema, with Philip Kan Gotanda’s film “Life Tastes Good” at 3 p.m. at the Japanese American Museum of San Jose, 535 North Fifth St. in San Jose’s Japantown. Gotanda presents a quirky tale of a murder that incorporates poisonous mushrooms and a mysterious woman to reveal the beauty of life and the finality of death. The film features Sab Shimono, Tamlyn Tomita and Greg Watanabe. Gotanda will attend the screening, and participate in a Q-and-A format session. Admission is free.
