SAN JOSE — A Kenko Series workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Dr. James Akiyama Wellness Center, located at 110 Jackson St. in Japantown, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Dr. Robert Nishime, M.D. of Japantown Medical Group will lead a discussion on heart conditions, treatment and care from 10 to 11 a.m. A question-and-answer-format session will follow.

Suzanne Vandyck, culinary instructor, author, and founder of Worldchefs International LLC, will lead a cooking demonstration from 11 a.m. to noon. She will prepare and serve a heart-healthy dish for attendees to sample.
