The Japanese American Museum of San Jose’s 2011 “Winter Boutique” will be held at the San Jose Buddhist Temple Betsuin, located at 640 North Fifth St. in Japantown. The boutique will open at 9 a.m. to members, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to the general public. Japanese-style collages, clothing and accessories made from vintage Japanese kimono, handcrafted jewelry, Japanese folk dolls, washi crafts, stationery and hand-dyed silk scarves are among the items that will be available for purchase.
