Nikkei Matsuri will host a benefit concert featuring Japanese jazz vocalist, Ayako Hosokawa, who will perform at the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin Gymnasium, 570 North Fifth St. in Japantown, from 7 to 9 p.m. Shota Osabe (keyboards), Bob Kenmotsu (saxophone), Ken Okada (bass) and Rick Alegria (drums) will accompany Hosokawa. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. Tickets: $15 until Thursday, April 26, $20 at the door.
