The Santa Barbara Museum of Art, 1130 State St., Santa Barbara, Calif., is exhibiting a selection of 19th century avant-garde woodblock artist Henri Rivière’s work, “Echoes of Japan.” This exhibition traces Rivière’s career from his early days as a designer of shadow plays for the Cabaret du Chat Noir to the albums of Parisian cityscapes and Breton landscapes with which he made his name. The Museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9 for adults, $6 for seniors, students with ID, and children ages 6-17. Admission is free on Sundays.
