Sullivan Gloss: An American Gallery announces its first exhibition from the estate of Nikkei artist Frank Taira (1913-2010). This exhibition, located at 7 East Anapamu St. Santa Barbara, Calif., features paintings from the 1950s to the 1970s. On display are seven paintings of Taira’s experiments with abstraction. Taira’s body of work reflects his journey as a marginalized minority trying to personalize the Modern art being made around him in the New World.
