So Cal: “Images of America: Los Angeles’s Little Tokyo” book talk and signing

The Pasadena Museum of History, 470 West Walnut St., Pasadena, Calif., will host an author discussion and book signing at 7:30 p.m. Michael Okamura and Deanna Matsumoto, two members of a team of authors of “Images of America: Los Angeles’s Little Tokyo,” will speak about development and history of the neighborhood, a multicultural, multigenerational community Japantown, from its origins in the 1880s to the present day. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., to allow guests to view the exhibit galleries prior to the program, which will be followed by a reception.
