The Japanese American National Museum will hold a “Books & Conversations” event with John V. McReynolds, author of “Vanished: Lompoc’s Japanese, Of One Hundred Families Only Two Returned” at 2 p.m. at 369 East First St. in L.A.’s Little Tokyo.
