So Cal: Manzanar Historic Site speakers talking about wartime experiences ends

The Manzanar National Historic Site Interpretive Center will host speakers to talk about their experiences at the wartime campws. The speakers come as a continuation of the National Park Service’s programs to invite speakers to present during the summer months. Arthur Ogami will speak on Sunday and Monday, July 3 and 4; Dr. Don Hata and Mary Hatsuko Higuchi will speak on Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24; and Hank Umemoto will speak on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6 and 7. All programs are free and open to the public. Each talk will be presented at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Interpretive Center located at 5001 Highway 395, six miles south of Independence, Calif.
