The San Fernando Valley Hongwanji will hold its obon festival from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on both days. The bon odori will be held at 7 p.m. on Sat. and at 6:30 p.m. on Sun. at SFV Japanese American Community Center, 12953 Branford St., Pacoima, Calif. Info: (818) 899-4030 or www.sfvhbt.org.
