The Japanese American National Museum will host the LA sneak preview of “Surrogate Valentine” at 369 East First St., LA’s Little Tokyo. At 8 p.m. San Francisco musician Goh Nakamura (playing himself) is barely scraping by, playing live gigs and teaching guitar. So when a filmmaker friend asks him to teach guitar lessons to TV star Danny Turner (Chadd Stoops) for his upcoming movie role, Goh jumps at the chance. While on tour together, things get complicated when Goh’s high school flame Rachel (Lynn Chen) shows up. The director and cast will attend. The show will open with live music from Nakamura, and a Q-and-A format session will follow the screening. The screening will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
